What is Greatness?
I am going to be philosophical to start off this on this post especially due to the state of our nation now.
The hardest task one can be confronted with is to continue to love others despite all the reasons he should not. And then once one has done that, to continue loving others. When one can do this there is hope for all.
For those that cannot one's future will be filled with sorrow, hatred and despair.
When one goes about trying to achieve a decent life and one runs into barriers and others that are working against one the most difficult , but necessary, attitude is to love one's fellows despite all the reasons to do otherwise.
One can truly be considered to be great when one refuses to change in the face of bad actions against one and to continue to love his fellows despite those actions leveled against one.
It requires real strength to love Man. And to love him despite all invitations to do otherwise, all provocations and all reasons why one should not.
Happiness and strength endure only when there is not hate. To hate is the road to disaster. To love is the road to strength. To love in spite of all, is the secret to greatness. And this may very well be the greatest secret in this universe.
Let's remember this not just because it is Valentine's Day soon but everyday.
